Progatec AB is a Swedish engineering and manufacturing company based in Norrköping, with over 55 years of experience in hot-dip galvanizing — the last 30 of which have been spent developing centrifuge drive units. The K2 centrifuge is the latest result of that work, designed and built in-house.

Beyond surface treatment systems, Progatec runs its own contract manufacturing operation — machining, sheet metal work, welding, and both waterjet and fiber-laser cutting — all under one roof at its facility outside Norrköping. That combination of in-house engineering, mechanical and electrical design, PLC programming, and production means every K2 unit is designed, built, and supported by the same team.
